First connection to Graybridge Malkam's Microsoft 365 account
- Open a web browser such as Chrome or Edge
- In the address bar type or copy http://mail.graybridgemalkam.com. If this address does not work, use this: https://portal.office.com/
- Type your Graybridge Malkam email address and click the "Next" button. Then enter the temporary password. Please refer to welcome email from IT Team to find your email and temporary password.
- Please follow on screen instructions to create your personal password.
- Notice that when your address is entered, the format of the login page changes to adopt the Graybridge Malkam theme. If you do not see this, you are on the wrong page.
- When you log in for the first time, you need to confirm your time zone and the language in which your virtual office is displayed. To do this, go to the icon with your initials in the top right-hand corner of your screen and click on "View Account".
- In the new window, go to "Settings & Privacy".
- (Optional) Click on the "Change Display Language" button (1) to change the interface language. Accept the invitation to change language. Click on "Add Language" to add spelling and grammar correction tools in the chosen language.
- Check and change the time zone if necessary. If you are in the National Capital Region, leave the time zone at UTC -5 east (USA and Canada). If not, change your time zone.
- Once back on the home page, locate Teams in the left-hand menu and click on the icon to open it.
- On the new tab, click on the "..." button (1) at the top right of the screen to scroll down the options, then choose "Download desktop application" (2).
- Once the application has been downloaded, it will install automatically. If not, go to "Downloads", locate the installation file, double-click it and accept all the default settings.
- When the application appears, choose "Keep using the new Teams".
- Now you're ready to use Teams in the Graybridge Malkam environment!
